Sounds like you're doin pretty well Coach. Nice job! I'm all too familiar with the challenges of this particular motor as i've been workin on putting the 5.3L truck variant into a bronco. Its a big motor in just about every direction, and I'm betting I've got a bit more room to work with than you do. Even so we may have to modify the oil pan to clear the axle, we already need an aftermarket hood to clear the intake and alternator, and I'll have to build a VERY custom header for the passenger side. Basically the only place we didn't run out of room was up front.

If you're planning on running an electric fan, you should really search around on the Taurus fan. I know there are a few threads on here. It flows MUCH more air than just about any aftermarket fan I've found, and can be had for about $25 at any junkyard.

Need a Spot
I have a '68 that is almost identical to that one. Honestly, I can't imagine why anyone would want to put a 5.3 in an early bronco. But, it definitely looks like a challenge.
