Should I go with 31's or stick with 30's?

I'd love to get some 32's or maybe 33-9/50's(less trimming needed), but I worry about the gas milleage, I travel to Mexico a lot with the gas there at $2.50, also the rear differential bearings tend to go faster when you get bigger tires, and finally, these darn BFG TKO's, lasts for ever. Maybe I should just go crazy one day and get those 33's.
