1 ton non duallies have semi floating axles. they have the same third member as a 4x4(8") and 30 spline axles, but they're 5 lug and 56" wide. '79-85 4x4s are 55" wide, and '86-95 4x4s are 58" wide

also, 2wd are sprung-under, 4wd are sprung-over
