I bought my 94 Amigo new in 94 and it always seemed to droop in the rear, you know, had that "going up a hill look" from day one. This year I decided to fix this, I bought a set of 97 Rodeo rear springs from a local wrecking yard for $75 and after about three hours, I now have a 3 to 5 inch rear lift with a ride that is much firmer. It no longer feels like I am about to roll over when I go around a corner at 25 to 30 MPH, just a little rear wheel squeal. It now has that graceful rear to front rake. I think it looks great! Should have taken some before and after pictures of the amigo and the difference in the springs, but I did not know how well it was going to turn out. I do have some pictures of the differences in the ends of the springs if anyone is interested.

compare this to Wayne's picture of his stock Amigo:

You can see the difference of where the stock tires meet the creases in the body to see just how high the rear was lifted by the Rodeo springs. The Rodeo springs move the axle forward around ¢ inch, which makes the position of the sliding output shaft pretty close to original. The parking brake cable had to be loosened at the body and moved about ?ö back so it would match up to the Rodeo spring mounting bracket. ThatÆs pretty close!
