Hose it down with GooGone or a similar citrus-based product and scrape it off using the edge of a credit card. Best if you can park it in the sun (or use your heat gun) to soften the adhesive, then spray, scrape, spray, scrape. If you can cut through the glue/tape in different spots (basically hack into it wherever) to the paint with the corner of the credit card (then spray more GooGone) it will help also. The plastic edge really does well at not scratching the paint.
