I have used laquer thinner in the past to remove and clean residue left over from the glue. Use small amounts and gently rub. If you use to much lacquer thinner (like dousing <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />)you can damage the clear coat (or your brain <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />) Follow up with a good soap and water wash and wax. It is possible that there might be 'shawdowing' after the moulding is removed. I remove the hood decals off of my old '84 and you could definately tell where they once were (the paint was shinier and a slightly different color) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
