I've been having the "turn signal stick" for some time now. Last weekend my turn signals, brake lights and sunroof all quit working @ the same time. thought it might be related to the flasher. All fuses look good.
Anyone else ever have a similar condition?
I'm not finding much in the search and my manuals aren't much help either.

No idea, ask Big Blue. It still sounds like a fuse or a connector that has come apart. What was the last thing you changed, modified, repaired, messed with, etc???
Perhaps that will give you an area in which to look.
I have an 87 that I drive thru mud and water and have yet to replace a light bulb.

I'm in the process of fabricating front and rear bumpers, been doing some welding on the frame but allways with the ground disconnected.

I had a flasher go out in an econoline van one time and it messed up the whole electrical system. Think I'll start there.
Also thinking it could be a connection common to the three. I'll have a look @ the schematic.

Bob, look at your flasher switch for the brake/turn signal problem. it is a known failure item, but most can be cleaned and made to function again with a little work. That being said, I always carry a spare with me in my stuff for the rig. Mine has never failed...but i know that if I didn't have a spare it would fail. As for the sunroof, I'll try to look at the wiring diagrams and get back to you on that one.

I'm opening up the flasher as I write this.
I guess it's the timeing of the failures that is suspect, why the sunroof would quit @ the same time as the lights <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

So, after spending most of the day chasing this light not working thing...
I cleaned the flasher, no help. I replaced the flasher, no help but the sunroof did have power to close <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> WHATEVER
But still no brake lights or turn signals. After a couple hours looking @ schematics in the Mitsu manual I thought I had better look @ the multipurpose fuse. So before I did this I have this thought <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> Perhaps I should try the hazard lights... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> Now I feel realllllly Steupid.
FYI If your hazard light switch is adjar between on & off your turn signals and brakelights will not work.
I have a feeling the Navigator was playing in there before we left and I just did not notice until I needed the turn signal.
Hope this never happens to you.

Sometimes it's the simple things that get you. I would have never thought of that. Did you get any work done on your bumpers? I want to stop bye and check them out.

no, I worked all day on that rear I was fabricating & it's just not right. Went to Z's today and bought a length of 6" channel, I'm going with your design.
BTY I saw a really cool front bumper on a TJ last weekend & took some pics. I'll be copying it for my front.
