Starting from the "0" point on the tach. The first mark above the zero point is 500 RPM, the second point is 750 RPM, then 1000 RPM. The engine should idle at 750 RPM (the second point on the tach) under these conditions:

At operating temperature
A/C off.
In "D" if you have an automatic. (It may idle slightly higher in "P")
