i was gonna change the origina clutch on my 85 4x4 soon. i dont do too much off roading but i do occasionally do some four wheelin from time to time. whats a good clutch to buy? im old school and all i know is center force. is there any other brand out there? also can i do it at home in the garage ? thanks!

If you do a search, this has been covered a bunch of times. You just cant beat the stock ASCO clutch. Call Joe@ www.jtoutfitters.com and tell him you want the ASCO.

I'll be calling JT soon for the Asco, make sure the disc has springs and not bushings!!

I am in the process of looking into replacing mine too. I have been looking at JT's website, but which clutch is the ASCO? I see the Centerforce clutch's, and then the regular clutch kits on their website: http://www.jtoutfitters.com/category/clutch.3/
