My 62 "heep" did this at the ABC store.I pulled in,stopped,
got some rum....went to pull out....and nothing
the clutch disc just brokeup/flaked off/dissenigrated(s/p)
and had to have it towed home..............

I hear you on that one however I ran it for like five to ten mins. and it didn't smoke the clutch. I couldn't smell nothing as if the clutch was burning. If the clutch disc were going bad - gone bad it still would move alittle or atleast try to when I reved it up right. Like I said before this is the center fource clutch and it has very litle miles on it, However it does have some time. I think I got it like 2 years ago.
