And I can verify that in Europe they use Toyota axles on the 70 series. I swap those parts all the time with pickups.

Not that odd if you think about it. My first pickup was a VW Taro which was a Toy Hilux with factory VW emblems. All parts were shipped to Germany where some VW guys bolted everything together. This was done due to some import tax advantage, so looks to me like this can happen all the time.

On a trip to Portugal I found that the Toy Hilux was sold there without bed, rear lights etc. You were supposed to build your own bed! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
I saw tons of those with the same nose as mine, but with a wooden shed were the bed normaly is.
