Has anyone installed an ARB Bullbar with a 3" body lift? I am curious if it looks or fits okay? Has anybody modified a bullbar to fit a 3" body lift? Any feedback and/or pics would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Mike

Will you post back w/ any learnings? I've been wonmdering same thing. Supposedly, there is a local guy w/ 4runner that has made some adapters. I'm told they are platres with 6 - 8 half moon shaped holes. If I ever see the work, I'll try to post some pics.

I beleive Darlington Off-road caries or makes a bumper bracket for 3" body lifts. Since the ARB uses stock mounting points, if I'm not mistaken, It should work. I'm sure Mr. Darlington could provide more info than I. HIH. Andre

If we're talking winch bumpers you need to make certian that these brackets will be strong enough and not bend or allow your bumper to bend down.
I know I recall someone posting about their bumper being pulled down when winching.

I know I recall someone posting about their bumper being pulled down when winching. At least on a Rodeo, there are only two bolts holding the the front bumper on, and those are not enough (IMHO) to support serious winching. Most people drill out another hole and add another grade 8 bolt to help stabilize the front. Since the bumer ties into the frame, I don't think you'd have any problems with a winch bumper bolting directly to the frame. Add some brackets to raise it to the same level as the body, and you're increasing the moment arm when winching. This'll put much more stress on those bolts and mounting points. It's the same when you try to free a bolt with an 8" handled ratchet, then slap an 18" breaker bar on there and it spins right off.

Unfortunately I can't make it out to the trails this weekend due to family obligations. If you have any information or could maybe ask some folks out at Barnwell that may have some answers we would sure appreciate th knowledge. Thanks Mike

if you are talking about the brackets you get with the body lift kit, then I would NOT suggest using those. I wouldn't trust them for someone standing on the bumper much less putting any kind of serious weight on them. There is a warning that comes with the kit that states the brackets are to maintain cosmetic function only.
