Clean some of the dielectric grease stuff out of the terminals so that the paperclip makes good contact. Can also put kinks in the paperclip ends so that wedges against both sides of the terminal. To prevent having to do this every time, store the thing in the slot the diag. box slips over. I always know where mine is.
