why are taking the rotors off the hub? leave them on and take it to get machined like that. repack the bearings, install a new inner seal, and put it all back together. most autozones, etc can turn them for under $10 each. just get there early if it is sat/sun as the line gets long.....

Need a Spot
<why taking rotors off the hubs>

Just never had to have rotors turned down before and wasn't sure what the standard procedure was.
Wife's RAV 4 rotors still look good.
My 87 Camry rotors pitted prematurely....had to replace.
And my old 78 Chevy K10 rotors never wore at all.
Thanks for the tip on the inner seal replacement.....wasn't thinking of that.

People are going to think I don't rebuild stuff, only buy new but.....

Also consider just replacing the discs w/ new. A bit more than having turned by for a 9 year old truck, the old dics will "probably" just warp soon after being turned.

( I promise I am not being paid by the brake caliper or brake rotors manufacturing group)

just my $.05
