The Koni inserts are a lot beefier than the stock ones. The Koni's are 40mm in diameter and the Stock ones are only 32.5mm dia. The Koni shafts are about 16mm and the stock shafts are 12.5mm. I have one of the strut housings cut and I am doing a trial fit.
