I had an idea of taking a second axle plate with the shock mount on it off of another truck, beefing it up and installing it between the spring and axle. The u-bolts would go through the original holes. The extra plates would sit on top of the spring perches and the shock mounts would be in the same, but higher location. It would also add an additional 1/2" or so of lift.

I will definately be doing something about the brake line, haven't done any off-roading yet to put it in that much danger, and I still need to adjust the LSPV to compensate for the lift.

Does this sound reasonable, or should I just get the 5100's. If so, anyone know where can they be purchased the cheapest ?? I've only seen them at Performance Products for $80.00.
