gary, give me five to ten minutes to post in the other thread and then decide if you're still interested in this line of manufacture.

Hi logansportage, Look here: Diff. Drawing I am most interested in dimension G, C1, B and F but other dimensions would be helpfull too. Thanks All right guys, sorry for the delay, but here are the measurements from my stock non-LSD differential. It is from a 1998 4x4 KIA Sportage with 28 spline axles. A = 6.225" (outer diameter of the ring gear mounting surface) B = 4.650" (inner diameter of the ring gear mounting surface) C1 = 1.555" (outer diameter of the axle shaft housing/bearing seat) C2 = 1.555" (outer diameter of the axle shaft housing/bearing seat) D1 = 1.175" (inner diameter of the axle shaft housing) D2 = 1.175" (inner diameter of the axle shaft housing) E1 = 0.810" (bearing seat width) E2 = 0.810" (bearing seat width) F = 0.900" (thickness of ring gear mounting surface to bearing seat) G = 4.450" (distance from bearing seat E1 to bearing seat E2) *H1 = 2.350" (distance from outer bearing seat edge E1 to where axle shaft would stop) *H1 = 2.350" (distance from outer bearing seat edge E2 to where axle shaft would stop) *H1a = 1.155" (distance from snap ring location to where axle shaft would stop) I.e. Spline length inside side gear *H2a = 1.155" (distance from snap ring location to where axle shaft would stop) I.e. Spline length inside side gear *Axle spline count = 28 *Axle shaft diameter = TBM (To Be Measured) *Axle spline length = TBM ( To Be Measured) Updates as of 5:47 PM Mountain Standard Time 10/21/2004 I will try and update this post with the distance from the outer edge of the bearing seat to the end of the dotted lines in the picture posted in wd8cdh's post listed above. I believe this is the distance from the outer edge of the bearing seat to the end of the axel shaft which is also the inner most side of the differential side gear. Logansportage From Bitsamissin (Outerlimits Mitsubishi guru) Front Mitsubishi 28 spline Ok measurements as follows :- A = 176.0mm 6.928" B = 124.0mm 4.882" C1 = 45.3mm 1.783" C2 = 45.3mm D1 = 32.0mm 1.260" D2 = 32.0mm E1 = 19.5mm 0.768" E2 = 19.5mm F = 20.5mm 0.807" G = 113.0mm 4.449" No of crownwheel bolts = 10 PCD crownwheel bolt holes = 150.0mm Hope this helps.

Any updates regarding ARB? Private msg from Daniel Bongard: ------------------------- G'day Gary, It's an impressive thread you've started here. Unfortunately I have to report that with the exception of your email asking if we've made any decisions on the Kia applications there have been no other enquiries to my email address and nothing forwarded to me from our sales team. That is not to say that it will not happen...only to say that the priority positioning of its development puts it well behind the vocal majority of drivers of Toyota's, Nissan's, Mitsubishi's, and even Mazda's and Daihatsu's. If you can in fact confirm any cross-over applications (I noted that someone was considering a possible cross over with a late Chevy model) then that would help. All good things to those who wait I guess. Best regards and Happy New Year! -daniel ---------------------------------- Please find Daniels' email addy at the head of this thread and GIVE HIM AN EMAIL!!!!!, otherwise all chances of ANY locker, front or rear, is gone. . . . . FOR GOOD! At this point we cannot afford to be choosy about which end we do first.............

I e-mailed him. Wonder what the hell happened?... While I am more likely at the moment to just go ahead and convert the rear to a Dana 35 with a No Slip locker and a leaf spring conversion, I will write another e-mail to send to him.
