Woohoo! Finally got this bad boy done. It runs like a top! Can't really tell anything right now because I'm still in the intial break in period of 500 miles, but I can defintly tell it has a lot more balls then before! Got my K&N filter in and I can really tell it breath's better with the exhaust I have. My tach will be here tomorrow for me to put in so I can defintly keep her under 3, 3500 rpms. Well I'm gonna go put some miles on her and report back later.

Great pics of the engine! Kinda makes me wish I had an '88 instead of this freakin' '91!! Your engine looks much cleaner and organized too! How much did this "growth of balls" cost you ? Glad to see you're workin' w/ what ya got!

Getting the Wheeling Fever

Wow, your engine looks great. I am going to be doing something with my 94 when I get back. I am trying to find the most economical but practical solution to my 3.SLOW. I am considering rebuilding mine with oversize pistons and valves, new cams, and ported heads/intake manifold. However I am also considering a 5VZ-FE swap, as well as a 2L-TE diesel swap. I have a lot of time on my hands to wait and try to find the best solution. My truck is a DD as well as trail rig, but it will be replaced as the main trail rig by my Samurai when I get it. I will need the pickup to tow the Sammi to the trail and back, so it will need more power.
