Morning all,

I have an '85 4Runner and I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I just bought the truck and the tires are brand new BFG 33x10.5's. I'm not sure of the wheels but they don't even stick out of the factory fenders (actually looks very strange, kinda narrow and tipsy).

I'm having a problem with the left tire almost or touching the leaf spring when I turn the wheel all the way to the left. So I was thinking of either putting some spacers on the axles (don't want to, use it 60/40 dd/off-road) or get some new wheels which offset the tires. I want the wider stance anyway so I'm not concerned about the tires extending beyond the fender (that's what they made fender flares for right?).

So here's my question, if I get new wheels, I'd like to get some that will offset my current set up enough to eliminate the leaf spring problem. But I'd also want a wheel which could handle a wider tire, say 12.5" in the future.

Any suggestions?

Justin
