Get your drill bits, pokers and a metal coat hanger out. Have some strong solvent handy (brake clean, carb cleaner, oven cleaner). Work into the carbon with the pokey tools, spray generously with cleaner...then hand work the drillbit around and into the crust. Keep repeating...this stuff is a SOB to get out. And most importantly...dont be wearing your Sunday "goin to meetin" clothes becuase the ultra black carbon ***** that comes out is permanent on clothes and hands.
