A while back there was a discussion about custom locking interior panels for a 4Runner, replacing the plastic panels that lack somewhat in security. I told what I did, and someone suggested that I post pics. I finally got off my lazy butt and took some, so here they are.

By the way, this is 1/2" plywood covered with indoor/outdoor carpet. I created two hinged doors on the driver's side with one between the bars of the roll bar, and one hinged door on the passenger side. All are keyed the same, and I just drill two holes in each door, ran some poly rope through it, and tied knots in the back to make door pulls.

This is the driver's side rear.

Driver's side - Can't get to the smaller door without removing my 'Power Puller', so only stuff I rarely need goes here.

Passenger side, with the door open. Also visible is my 'Tackle Box Tool Box' with 'cage' around it that locks to keep someone from stealing my tools. Or at least makes him work at it.
