Don't know about Costco, but SAMs Club batteries suck on warranty.

I just got a 1000 CA battery with 36 mo replacement / 96 mo pro-rate warranty for ~$60 from Wally World.

nevermind the kirkland junk, just snag an optima while you're there.

I've had a Kirkland battery from Costco in my truck for almost two years now with no problems. I bought the one on their application chart. Fits perfectly. I think I paid $45. I have winch now and will upgrade to an Optima next round.

Johnson Controls is a large manufacturer of after market batteries. Whether you buy from Wally World, Costco, or the Sears Die Hard, they are all the same battery from the same manufacturer. Only difference is the labeling. A couple of years ago JCI bought Optima to grab that niche of the market too. Just this week I went to Costco to replace the Optima in my TJ. All my other vehicles are running Kirkland batteries.

Thanks for all the advice,
Just got back from Costco. Got a nice Juicy Optima, hopefully she wont ever fail me. I've never delt with a sealed battery before, one less thing to check is alright with me.
