I did not intend to get anyone mad or cause any tensions between members of the board, I just got that as a forward and thought it was kind of funny, didn't know anything of its validity or lack thereof. Lastly, I am not taking offense to anything that was posted about these quotes, as I understand how politics can become a heated emotional debate at times. Just kinda wanted to put this at ease for everyone.

"Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children." - John F. Kerry
That's pretty telling. I don't know about the rest of you, but my wife and I do most of the teaching of our kids when it comes to life and right and wrong and, in many cases, learning. Teachers supplement the process by the introduction of new ideas into the set of life skills. I feel like it's up to me to make sure those ideas are implemented into life and not just memorized for regurgitation on a test and discarded. Be forwarned: This is a mindset of Kerry and his kind. It was more of an admission than a slip of the tounge. And I'm pretty sure I've seen this particular quote attributed to Kerry elsewhere.

More then 2 parties Eric? Question is are they viable? And the Greens are INSANE, surely you dont mean them? Dont get me wrong, I would love to see a 3 party system, one that just sticks to the no partisan, middle ground with no socialist liberalism on one side, and over the top religous conservatism on the other side. But I think Perot dashed those hopes forever
1996 SR From the Area 51 Skunk Works. 37"BFG Tires, 5" lift, Rock Track 4:1 Case, Tom Woods Drive Shafts, Oasis Air, Front ARB, lifted gas tank, T-max winch and lots of stuff that cost too much.

Heck, we could form the 4Low party! As for the viability of additional parties, I look at it this way: You're at a restaurant and the menu has three things on it - dog poop, monkey poop, and a piece of driftwood. That driftwood sure looks tasty compared to the other two choices doesn't it!!

I don't particularly care which additional party shows up, heck you could form some unholy amalgamation of hitler and marx and alien overlords and joey lawrence.. and I'd prefer that over the two jerks masquerading as major presidential candidates.

That wouldn't fit my description of viability at all, thats more like personal tolerance. A viable third party would be a party that has some chance to compete on a national level and win seats.
The 4low party might be viable at Moab UT, at the local level, but it wouldn't stand a chance in a national election.
Dont expect to see a viable third party in our life time, if ever. I dont think it will ever happen due to the way our party system works. Party members dont have to be accountable to the party platform, or party alliance. This is a complete opposite to many of the countries in Europe that have multiple parties.
Our electoral doesn't support them either.
