I have a 93 Isuzu Trooper with a 3.2 v6 and this is the second encounter with this problem.

The first time I started the engine and then killed it backing out of the parking spot. Then it wouldn't start. It would turn over and stumble for a second then die. I thought I was out of gas so I added 5 gallons and then it started up and worked fine for a little over a month.

Today it did the same thing, only I was driving through a parking lot, came to a stop sign and it started stumbling. I kept it running but it died just after I turned onto the street. Now it does the same thing as last time, turns over and sometimes stumbles but wont start. The gas tank is full, the last time this happened it was past E.

I'm thinking that it might be the fuel pump. The fuel filter was replaced two and a half years ago (about 30,000 miles ago). The vehicle has 183,000 miles.

Any ideas?
