It could be a whole bunch of things. What year is your rig? There are different things to check depending on whether it's IFS or straight axle.

When my IFS steering got real sloppy I replaced the idler arm bushing and it made a huge difference. I also replaced worn tie rod ends and ball joints. Try checking all those things, in addition to your sway bar.
