if its leaking from front or rear seals on the tranny it might be a couple of things.

1. he damaged the seals on the install. if so its his fault and he should pay for it.

2. if you paid only for seeals and it need bushings as well, there might be enough run out to cause the seals to start leaking again quickly. if thats the case you need to replace the bushings and you get to buy the seals.

3. the bearings in the motor are so bad that they have enough run out to cause the tourq converter to have runout to make the seal leak. smae thing for the T-case. again its kinda your fault on that one and you get to pay.

if it is leaking from things like the band apply servo's or non driveline related seals, then he messed up and he should pay.

does the starter keep turning over when it clicks? or does it get a revolution then click?

if you think it may be your batery hook up a volt meter to it and dissable the ignition (pull the coil wire). you should be able to crank it for 30 seconds without the battery voltage dropping below 9.6 volts. don't crank it for more than 30 seconds at a time or you'll frag the starter for shure, give 30 to cool down.
