Getting back to the Leak. I have already paid about 380 to get it all fixed. The first time it was seals on the rear tranny. Next time was front seals and they epoxied in a bearing in the front. I talked to the guy today and i had spun the epoxied bearing with normal driving. He claimed this was a first. But now my case is royally screwed. Hes like we can replace the case and fix it for about $550. So with the 380 already and another $550 That over $900. A new tranny is about $1,200 so should i go with a new Tranny or get this guy to fix it. I am way lacking in trust with this guy now... A little advise would be nice.

well... its going to go somthing like this...
We got your new case in and we started installing parts and found your forward cluthc pack is out of tolerance, and you low/reverse drum is messed up.. We can put it back together for you but it will fail in a month... ETC
for if you can get your 380 back.. do it and put it twards a new/rebuilt tranny.

unless you have serious issues with what you have now (before it broke) i would leave it stock. it makes it easier to work on and get parts for. and it will still look very clean wiht minimal effort.
of course if you really want the t150... adaptor plates are available for anything. i wouldn't know off the top of my head if those bolt together easily.

don't even consider a 20. low range blows. keep the 300 at all cost.

I don't think a t-150 and a 300 came like that from factory. I put a t-18/dana20 in place of my 150/dana20 because the first gear in the t-150 "blows" The dana 20 has a poor low range compared to the 300.
