Ultimate suspention systems makes a lift for the trition and the challenger(sport) they are selling these lifts in oz right now and from what i've heard are trying to move into the US aswell. With little modding they fit the Gen 1's as well. Beat me to it!!

I couldn't tell from those pics, but what do they do with the torsion bars with that lift? I remember one of the IFS lifts that has been posted here, has the Tbars hanging down really low all by themselves...I KNOW I'd tweak the crap out of mine with a setup like that.

I also thought the ball joint mount extender looks alittle cheesy. What keeps it from spinning on the steering knuckle? Looks like an alignment problem waiting to happen.
Did gen 1 monty's come with rear disc brakes overseas?

Hey guy's, look at the first picture and tell me if you see what I see. 1.Diff has been dropped, but the upper A-arm is still sitting on the rubber bump stop. meaning there is NO downward travel left, unless you trim the rubber stop, as we do now. 2. The lower A-arm/spindle are sitting ~3" lower, BUT look at the angle of the tie-rod end to the spindle??? Is that a camera angle thing, or is something up. There is NO sign of the steering being lowered. It sure doesn't look right to me. Kary

Good eye Kary. I didn't notice the bump stop, and something is weird with the tie-rod. I ran back and forth to my truck three times to make sure! My idler arm looks a little different but, like you said, is in the stock location. So why doesn't it have steeper angle?

Looks like the torsion bars are just cranked up.

Ok, the steering arm on my spindle is about even with the centerline of the axle. The one in the picture appears to be a couple of inches higher, allowing the the tie-rod to work with a less severe angle. Different style steering knuckle/spindle?

Looks to me like he got a lift kit and still cranked the torsion bars up.
As for the steering components, the Thai truck is RHD. Some of the components could be different or located opposite of where they are on our LHD rigs.
Could the name and phone number on the front shock be where he got the kit from?
