Oh yeah, and those rear disc brakes make me drool. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

All the Mk1 imports (ex Japan) here in South Africa have rear disc brakes, but leaf springs. Calipers have a major flaw though. Non-Mitsubishi pads slip out of the caliper once it has worn down to a certain stage. Results in no brakes and often jams between caliper and wheel. Genuine parts hard to come by!

Close you eyes and imagine the lower control arm with the torsion bar, nothing else just think of their positions and there relative location to each other. Then look at the picture again.

Well I have as I guess you all, tried to search a bit, but this Thai talking ain`t that easy, but I saw some "normal" writeing with a question about more or less the same as I was asking, so I sendt that person an e-mail hopeing that he would aswer something he did this is his answer: About the Thai Pajero: I received an e-mail from the owner..

"You can buy the blue's one that you see in the picture from me. This modification kit is from Unicorn Suspension.
At the end of this month I will have it 2 set. If you interesting in this modification, please contact me again.

I asked him the following: Is it possible to send more information: How long have you had the system installed on the truck shown? What does the kit consist of? Are all the parts bolt-on? Is welding necessary? Are there different lift heights available eg 1", 2", 3" etc?
What is the cost?

Thank you / He replied:

This modification is nock-down.Don't need to weld. I used about 5-6 hour for installed it. When you installed it will height from std. 5".Not include the wheel size. The heightest wheel size you can use is 33".
The cost is in Thailand about 750 US$ Not include VAT, TAX,transport fee..

I hope you understand that all e-mail adress and so on is not show`n, because I`m haveing a bit of problem in getting in touch with that owner myself, but I`m working on it, try`ing eny way..
