Im not arguing that they are worthless offroad, they just wouldnt be my choice here where I live. Im glad they work for you. When I looked at them in the tire shop, I looked at them like they were a passenger car tire. Im not bashing the tires at all. They are probably great tires in certain terrain. I just doubt that they would be much better for me than my current tires, the MTs that I have to soon get remounted on my new rims. If I was dealing with all rainy, snowy conditions with a lot of highway miles, they would be my first choice. Im glad that they work for you and work well. I would however go with any dunlop before I ever put a brand new set of goodyears on my truck. Mainly because of previous issues I and my family have had. I hear that firestones have picked up their quality too, but my dad would shoot me if he ever saw firestones on my truck. Again, hes had tons and tons of problems with them. My top three choices would be BFG, Cooper and Dunlop. Dunlop also happens to be the most reasonably priced tire of the bunch as well. Im sorry for ruffling some feathers here. Its just that these tires though they may be great for the winter up here, but wouldnt be my first choice considering the conditions I see through the rest of the year. I've been quite surprised by how well my MTs are holding up and how well they do on the snow, rain and dry pavement. Again im sorry for pointing out my opinion and take on things. Choosing a tire is hard enough.
