Maybe an increase of 50 ft/lb or so - hard to say until the job was done.

I also like the 3.5L idea. If I had a spare vehicle and some time I'd be very tempted once I finish the present one.

What really makes the 3.5L swap impractical though is the requirement to change to harness and computer - if you're gonna do all that, you might as well go with the 4.3L and get more power along with cheaper replacement parts.

Nothing's simple for more power on the Gen1 3.0L.
