Dan, I do believe the 3800 SC has the throttle body pointing towards the rear of the block. Are you getting enough clearance between the supercharger and the firewall in your application?

Not where the tranny is now. The TB flange on the input to the SC is less than an inch from the firewall. I'd *really* like to keep the motor that far back too. It'll be a pain to slide the tranny forward, re-do all the shifters, driveshafts, etc. Plus, balance is better with the motor/tranny slid back as far as possible.

I do have a solution though. I'm looking at getting an air/water IC plate made up that will also adapt to the bolt pattern of an M-112 SC off a Lightning. So, I get a SC upgrade from an M90 to M112, an intercooler and a RWD intake setup all in one. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> What remains to be seen is cost of the plate. Typically, these are milled out of a chunk of aluminum (i.e., spendy if you're paying someone else). It's possible I may be able to fabricate an adapter though, hopefully without being godawful ugly.

It actually looks like an easy adaptor to make. The flange for the M90 vs M112 is very close to the same overall size, so a simple, squared off adapter will work. No weird angles, or "funnel" type adapters are needed.
