Any Updates?

Nothing very visually stimulating <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

wiguy is helping me with the adapter plate machining. Just waiting for a chance to squeeze it into his machine shop. I still need to make fuel rails, re-locate the alternator and build a mount for the 2nd A/C compressor on the motor, but those will go quick once I get the IC/adapter.

Done a lot of research on heat/sound insulation in the interior. I am planning on pulling the carpet, spraying a ceramic heat barrier, bedliner and some acousting matting in the doors and tranny tunnel.

Still looking for some grey/black VX seats.

Have about completed a full rebuild on my JY Dana 300. Did some custom grinding on the rear shift rail so I can get FWD HI range (not that I think I'll ever need it, but why not since I'm in there and it's easy?) I also got some additional parts from McMaster and put in oil level sight tubes on the D300 and my Klune. These use the instant push-lock tube connectors, so it'll make filling from a bottle w/tube easy and mess-free.

I'm also going to re-do my D300 shifters. One thing I found with my current ones is that I really would like to be able to grab both shifters in one hand to go from Hi to Low and back. As it is, I have to shift one to N first, the other from Hi to Low, then the first one again to Low. 3 shifts. If they're side by side, I can grab both together and shift them together in a single shift. Not a huge deal without a crawler box where you just put it into Low and pretty much leave it there, but with the Klune, I'm constantly shifting the D300 between the Hi & Low depending on if I want the 2.6:1 of the t-case, or the 4:1 of the Klune.
