Does any one know how to extract and read transmission fault codes on 91' Trooper if possible without diagnostic scaner.
My check transmission light started coming on flashing plus engine runs like s#@! at idle after a local muffler shop did some welding. My guess is that they did not disconnect ECM prior to welding and now all hell broke loose. Definately looks like a computer problem but I want to find out more .
