You are correct on the part number, sorry about that. And thanks, it took me a few hours of going through data sheets and vendors to find a match I could purchase. The Fujitsu is listed as a "quiet" relay, I don't mind the clicking from the NEC, it lets me know it's working before the wipers move...

As promised, this is a picture of the relay box. It shows how it is held in place with a screw and a spring clip that slides down into a grove on the right side of the glove box after the glove box is removed. The screw is at the bottom when mounted. At least this is the way one with a factory alarm looks.


And these are pictures of the before and after, Fujitsu to NEC, relay replacement.


The bottom picture show the intermittent wiper relay changed out with the NEC relay. The NEC is physically smaller than the Fujitsu, located towards the center of the cable connections.
