I emailed "carmanualguy" about one of his manuals I wanted and asked if it was an original or a copy and that if it was an original I'd buy it at his "buy it now" price.

He never replied. Instead he did something so that I can no longer bid on any of his auctions. I'd be tempted to give him my money if I could get a manual from him, but on the other hand, he doesn't seem like the kind of person I want to deal with...
