Body Damage is Cool
i've experienced firsthand the benefit of a third member housing. i blew up a set of gears on the road this summer, and something that i'd have to bring the whole truck(or axle) into the shop for with a dana axle, i could do in my back yard in under a day

The caster adjustment bushings only allow a very small amount of adjustment (1.5 degrees and under?). Helpful, but only a little. Its pretty easy to turn the knuckles though. Looks pretty straight forward on a Toy axle too, but not many do it.

And we're talking front axles here... If you blow up the gears for some reason (definitely not on the road), you can still drive home in RWD. Yes, setting up the gears is much more of a pain though.
