The 4L60-E is a GM auto tranny, the larger sister of the 4L30-E that was used in many Isuzu trucks. The VX does use a Borg Warner case, as do some of the other Isuzus over the years, although the VX case with the TOD is considerably different than other BW cases that were used. Just cause Isuzu used them, tho, doesn't mean they're made by Isuzu -- they're still GM and BW cases respectively. Now, that does, however, open up some possibilities on replacement parts -- but someone is gonna have to research the hell outta that one. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
