You could do what I did. Go to CAR-PART.com. For my '85 4Runner, I got a rear diff from a '94 4Runner, and a rear diff from a '92 V6 auto pickup. $150 each. Entire diff, with Toyota 4.88 gears. Both were with ABS, but i just cut the attached cable and left the plug on top of the assy. 1 came from Texas, (shipped for $25). The other from Omaha, again shipped to Phoenix for $25. So, $350 total gave me a stronger diff, gears I wanted, ALREADY SET UP and broke in. For the money I saved, I "ZUKified" them. added an LSD to the rear one, and a lock-rite in the front!
