The Peragon looked good until I checked their application chart and saw that they don't make one for the long bed.
I did a Google search and after about two hours of looking at the offerings just about went blind. Every manufacturer claims to have the "best" system. My hope was that someone on the board could say "I've used this for two years and it's great" or "Bought this one and it's nothing but trouble".
The main thing I see wrong with the retractable systems (except for the Peragon, which isn't made for mine) is that now I'd have this big chunk of rolled-up metal sitting in the top front of my bed all the time, maybe interfering with a stack of drywall. I'm guessing that most do not easily come out of the bed after installation.
