There are 2 problems I have seen in my time both being a part of the isuzu wheeling community, and as a vendor. First is getting enough numbers to make mass production a viable option. There simply aren't enough vehicles out there and many fewer people that want the parts. Second problem is that people dont want to spend money. A few times in this thread i've seen people asking for ceramic coated headers in the $2-500 range. I just did a search for ceramic coated headers for the small block chevy v8 and didn't find any under $500. Simple economics tells me that its going to be hard to talk any company into building a small production run of headers for cheaper than they build ones for the most common motor on the planet. I'd love to see it, but I'm not holding my breath.

It takes a lot of time and money to develop new products, if a vendor cant make that money back in a reasonable amount of time it becomes hard to do buisiness. I'm definitely paying attention to this thread, and I've got my eyes and ears open for new product ideas, but get any vendor to build something this community is going to have to be willing to pony up the cash. Thats how we got the ARB, and the Tera gears, and the Calmini bumpers IIRC.

I really wish I had the ability to build some of the things that have been mentioned here, and will keep on the look out for ways to do so, but for now I'll continue to concentrate on the things I can do for you.
