I work at a General Motors dealership and I can promise you that you wouldn't believe the safety defects that are allowed to continue in production for years AFTER A RECALL CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN ISSUED!

There is a recall for "N" body cars that they call "Thermal Events." This is code for [color:"red"] [/color] CAR FIRE!

For as long as I can remember, we have been fixing these cars by installing a relay in the ignition circuit. I think the first one was in 1998. 2003 models now need the same thing... DUH!
