...the amount of inches the springs(shock if you still have the stock one) will allow for the wheel to travel in off road situations. I get about 6 inches with the Mazda springs. When you get a chance, do you think you can take that measurement? That will tell me how many inches I could get of down travel from those springs. How much did you pay for the Jeep springs? Were they new or used?

The springs don't matter all that much. I have I think something like 24" Rancho RS9000s in the rear, Eibach springs, which did fall out when completely flexed (due mostly because a stupid mechanic ripped off the the bump stops... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />) before I got the 2" spacers, and the actual limiting factor are the arms. They need to be longer to afford more flex (than what I already have. ie.: I cannot get any beter flex because of the superlong shocks I have. The arms hit their limit before the shocks dob (but only ~.25" before the shocks would)). Depending on how this was done it could also make for a longer wheelbase which would look better for lifting the Sportage higher; the tire wouldn't be so close to the front-side of the rear wheelwell.
