I'm fixin to buy a used ifs lift and was wondering something. When you lift the front, do you need a longer shock like the rear does, or does the distance stay the same. I am familiar with solid axle lifts, but this will be my first ifs lift.

i was under the impression that ifs lifts didnt increase travel, only spaced the suspension down. if thats correct couldnt you just relocate the upper shock mount?
