I saw one on the road too, only got a quick glance... it wasn't the worth looking thing.... but i have to consider the work involve in paint it to match ect... vs just builing some type of flat bed.

Does anyone have a cost or materials estimate on their flat bed builds. (maybe i should start another post for this)

Mine cost about $175, but that was about 2 years ago before steel prices skyrocketed.

I just cut the hose shorter, almost down to the gas tank, and I reach under the edge of the bed with the nozzle to fill it. You can see it in the picture above.

Buddy, I finally drew up some dimensions/plans for you, but I need to scan them so I can email or post them. I'll try to do it soon.

I have a bed from a '94 on my '88 x-cab. looks fine, wouldnt even notice if it was the same color as the rest of the truck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
id get a pic but its really dark and cold out now..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />
