I have the problem lately that pressure builds between the clutch master and slave. Every few days I have to open up the slave bleeder and let off the pressure...
I guess this is a warning to all you guys that use Autozone and equivient parts.

Make sure the pushrod for the master cyl isn't adjusted too long. If the master is depressed just a little with the clutch pedal up it cannot bleed off pressure. Oil in with the brake fluid can cause problems also.

Could you clarify "long"?
I currently have the longest travel possible with it adjusted all the way in twards the pedal itself. Let me know if this is what you ment.

Long is fine, just make sure there is no pressure exerted on the MC when the pedal is all the way out... i.e. it can release fully with the pedal out.

One thing that will cause it fersure is moisture in the fluid.
If you ain't never done it, next time you bleed the slave go ahead and flush all the old fluid out with fresh stuff.

It starts off being able to close all the way but as it builds pressure in the lines, it stops working correctly and if I don't release the pressure the clutch won't fully close.
I'm going to look up how much it costs for the $tealership parts...

DOT 3 Brake fluid. It was changed out a few months ago when I installed the new master cyl from Autozone. I've blead it completely several times since. I just keeps building pressure.

Josh You have to have freeplay. If you don't you'll have pressure buildup just as you describe. I don't remember the spec, but as long as you have a little freeplay you should be OK.
