Is there an easy way to clean up the oxidation? on aluminum wheels? I'm trying to decide which to keep between 2 sets of wheels. Thanks.

Below are some pics of what I did. I bead blasted them and then painted them with the Hammered Rustoleum. Came out very nice. I tried the method mentioned above first but it was very time consuming.

Go to a boat dealer and buy the stuff they use to clean the pontoons on a pontoon boat. It`s an acid mix that removes aluminum oxidization. It won`t help you if the factory clearcoat is not completely removed first though.

Speedy metal polish with some 0000 or 000 steel wool
Mine wre cover with overspray on oxidation, the steel wool works as a nice abrasive without excess scratching

Use Aircraft Paint Remover on clearcoat rims.Be careful read instructions.Then use acid second
