Thanks for the input so far guys. I guess I had always *planned* to get a Milemarker, but I've been concerned about the pump's output. Is it going to be able to keep up with winching duties? Is it going to put more strain on the pump? Are there any other detriments to multi-tasking the stock PS pump? Because I know there are a lot of plusses to not having to use the stock electrical system for such a high-drain device....

Oh, as far as hookup, what kit would one need to plumb it into the OE steering system? Toyota?

PHIL

Well Phil I had one on my 93, and my 1990, and have been using them for 8 or 9 years now, and never replaced or had a power steering pump problem. I have winched for many hours at a time, some of those events I am still trying to forget. Ever use a 115 year old winch cable to extend your line? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Anyhow, as you are also aware I have run up to 12hrs on cave digs.(though most digs are only an hour or two of use) Bottom line, been through hell with hydraulics, and no problems that could not be field fixed.(like sticky clutch) Electrics stranded me several times in the few years I owned them.
