Roll Me Over
And the exodus continues...

Secretary of State, Colin Powell - Resigned
Attorney General, John Ashcroft - Resigned
Secretary of Agriculture, Ann Veneman - Resigned
Secretary of Education, Rod Paige - Resigned
Secretary of Energy, Spencer Abraham - Resigned
Secretary of Commerce, Donald Evans (Bush's best friend) - Resigned
CIA Deputy Director, John McLaughlin - Resigned
CIA Deputy Director of Operations (i.e, head of spys), Steven Kappes - Resigned
CIA Assistant Deputy Dir. of Ops, Michael Sulick - Resigned
CIA Analyst, Michael Scheuer - Resigned
CIA Head of Black Ops, LSU88Montero - Resigned
Rumors of Tom Ridge and Tommy Thompson leaving next and Dick Cheney is about to keel over from a heart attack.

And all this in less than two weeks after a "decisive" election; right in the middle of a war where we're on the losing side. Looks like you guys chose a real winning team. Good job guys - way to make our nation stronger!

Any comment from the Bush supporters?

Yeah, I have a comment. Give it a rest Doug. I thought we all had enough of this political BS on the wire.

I can think of a couple of website where all they do all day is talk politics, instead of doing it here.

LOL. Yes I thought this was very interesting as well. I'd have to agree with DougH - politics in America - complete BS

I can help.
First, the cabinent is a rediculous high stress job as one could emagine. 4 years is enough for many. Big change in guard is normal.
Second, some had already planned to leave to move onto other things.
Third many are hold overs from the 8 years of horror administration, kept for transition and partisan purposes, those "Clintonites" are being asked to leave so Bush can really get to work.
Fourth, everyone knows the differences of opinon between Rumsfield and Powell, and the ongoing struggle to modernize the military.
Fifth, despite extrodernary changes in the first administration, you aint seen nothing yet! And he needs the right people for major tax reform, medical, ect. And, hopefully public land policy.(reform endangered species act, stop wilderness, back country designation, 100% rs2477 uphold)

I dont think youll find any folks resigning under disgust and writing books on the crisis, like with Clinton.

1996 SR From the Area 51 Skunk Works. 37"BFG Tires, 5" lift, Rock Track 4:1 Case, Tom Woods Drive Shafts, Oasis Air, Front ARB, lifted gas tank, T-max winch and lots of stuff that cost too much.

Only so there's nothing to worry about when pummeling the nation's natural resources.

Michael Scheuer's already written a book for which he was censured. And although he may not say it publicly, Powell's been wanting out for some time now because of this administration's rediculous foreign policy.

Since this has recently become partisanwire.com I figured I can offer some alternatives, on a partisan basis of course.

None of these post ever seem to have a purpose, other than reaching out to back slap fellow like minded posters, or to be inflammatory. Show me a post in the past five months that was political in nature and in which the main purpose was to foster common understanding between those with different viewpoints. There haven't been any that I have seen, maybe some well thought out responses, but thats about it.

In keeping with the partisan divide may I offer the following:

There is a lot of democratic party back slapping going on here http://www.democraticunderground.com/ . Here all the democrats, liberals and such can bemoan the downfall of the United States, ***** about the current fellow administration, and find supporting opinions for their gripes. If you think Bush is the devil you will fit right in.

There is also a real conservative backbone over at www.pirate4x4.com in the chit chat section. You will find people over there that will agree with you till they are blue in the face that liberals are crazy and so on. You will also find some differing opinions, but dont worry the conservatives are quick to band together and smash them flat. Plus what a bonus, after your done wasting hours on end in their chit chat section, you can check out some awesome fabricating pictures to repost here and get some brainstorming started.

Maybe once you all get settled in over in your respective political websites, and all the political aggression has been relocated, we can have our "4x4"wire.com back.

Because frankly I dont like partisanwire.com, it has an odor of the half full Keystone can I found under my bed, which must have come from the first weeks of the semester. In other words, it reeks.

If they'll all just call Dr. Douglas Schooler they'll feel all better and everything will be back to normal.

Real nice. That is the most underhanded (yet blatantly obvious) example of "flaming" I have yet seen on this board. And once again, my finger is on the trigger of this thread, among other things...
