Its true, 96% of all four wheelers are conservative and pro-Republican right now FOR A REASON.(like 96% of the countys) AND, OHV folks make up 16.4% of the population now! So if Democrats want any of those 96% of counties or 96% of 16.4% of the population, they better be open to public land access reform, and get the GAGs out of there pocket books. I absolutely CANNOT believe land access and OHV use has not come out on Fox, or conservative talk radio as a MAJOR issue as to why 96% of countys voted for Bush If any conservative folks out there can explain that...I plan to get all my facts and figures together and call into Rush, Shawn and others. Could not hurt to spread the good word. Now that election is over, the unusually large number of Kerry supporters here should try and learn why outdoor recreationalist and OHV folk are voting the way they are. And keep open minds.
PS: Anyone listen to Shawn Hannity on the radio, and his 30sec Liberal rant rule? Oh man, if those nuts think they are helping the Democrat cause

Maybe this isn't fully understood by all forum members, but as far as the U.S. goes there's very little in the way of public lands East of the Mississippi. That's probably why it's not as big an issue as some might like it to be. The BLM just don't exist out here.

Hmm, thats a fair point. Its really a western issue more. But you do have lots of Forest Service land, and the gates keep going up? Ok, lets see, alright so land access might be a CLEAR top issue in Wyoming, Montanna, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Rural California, Rural Washington and Oregon, Idaho, Arizona(ok guns big also), possibly South Dakota and to a lesser extent New Mexico. Would be interesting to add that to a poll.

I did not come here to reply to Doug's inflammatory and immature comments. I came here to make a personal vow to not post or reply to any political thread unless there is something outrageous like we just nuked North Korea or something. I would encourage others to follow my lead.

Between me and DougB he's on the other side of the universe when it comes to socio and probably most political views, (not unlike some of you neo "conservatives")

But WE be chillin'. In fact he be chillin here right now. Drinkin my beer, smokin my smokes. How do they do that you ask? WE CHILL.[Linked Image]

See Lloyd CHILL. He steps in the ring, he throws a few, he gets a few thrown back...all is COOL cuz these catz know to CHILL[Linked Image]

I would encourage others to follow his lead.

Here you go DuggyB try this way of voicing your dislike.

try this.

Not that this post, like 99% of its author's, even deserves a read but this thread has been so screwed up anyways so... the amusing, odd story behind the story.

Real nice. That is the most underhanded (yet blatantly obvious) example of "flaming" I have yet seen on this board. And once again, my finger is on the trigger of this thread, among other things...

Why is it when things do not go your way, you have your "Finger on the trigger"? Sounds like someone else I know. If someone does not like the thread, we are still able to not read it if we choose. Had not realized how much bigotry a moderator can have and get by with doing what they want. Thought this was a democracy. I have pretty much stayed out of this area on the board, due to frustration over what is in the area. But, once in a while I like to give some input. I think we should all be able to have our say without being censored.
